I only gone and done it! I’ve just had a meeting with the owner of Creative Crafts and Work shop in the Harris Arcade in Reading, and she is taking on all my handbag designs to sell at the shop.
I HAVE MY FIRST STOCKIEST!

I’ve been having fun the past few days dressing some of the John Lewis Reading windows in Summer holiday products.
Its made me feel all summery what with the sun shinning and no clouds in the sky today.

Decided to change up the Roxy handbag design to make it look better. I’ve taken it all apart, added some tulle netting to the back of the flower, and put a new opening to it.
I’ve made myself one too and have been using it for a week now. It’s much better with the new design layout.

This is Percy my new very own car. He is going to open up so many opportunities for me and my business.
For starters I can take part in the Swallowfield Show on August bank holiday because I can take my designs in my car.
I will also be able to visit possible stockists to meet them and show them my work.
Looking forward to this year got a lot planed!

I got my fist meeting with a gift shop on friday.
I received an email from the lovely lady that runs Creative Crafts and workshops in the Harris arcade in Reading. She had found my Facebook page and liked my designs.
I’m going to take her some of my things, not sure which yet, and see if she will put them in the shop.

I got my conformation to the Swallowfield show today. Going to be selling my designs in the craft marquee and it will be great to see what people think and hopefully make some face to face sales. Swallowfield Show is on August bank holiday and if you can make it it would be great to see you there. Katherine xxx
Took a break from business today and decided to make a skirt for myself. Its been a long. long time since I made anything I could wear but I’m quite pleased with this even if I did have to unpick it a few times.
I think I will go making to making my designs tomorrow, laugh! :)
